Celebration at Maryland’s Lodge

Celebrating NIET Group’s Tasmanian Expansion at Maryland’s Lodge

To celebrate the launch of our outstanding new Sandy Bay Centre campus, in the heart of the University of Tasmania , NIET Group held a fabulous boutique event at the stunning Maylands Lodge in Hobart. 🥂

Joined by distinguished guests from the Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Departments of State Growth and Health, the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania, Hobart City Council and of course, our agent partners and our friends from the University of Tasmania it was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate and expand our cooperation as we push the needle forward on Tasmanian growth & excellence in international education.

Jason Yang:

“We started NIET group with a vision to deliver Australia’s best training.”

This exclusive boutique cocktail gala celebrated the opening of its fifth training facility, nestled within the University of Tasmania’s Sandy Bay Campus. Emphasising our increasing focus on the importance of tourism and hospitality in this coming period of post-pandemic growth, our esteemed guests joined us at the stunning ‘Maylands’ – a beautifully restored heritage lodge set in the shadow of Mount Wellington. It was a a delightful evening of champagne, conversation, and artisanal Tasmanian canapes, as we explored and celebrated the excitement and anticipation of the coming year.

Winner of the 2021 Queensland Premier’s Export Award for Training & Education, NIET Group, with more than 35,000 graduates and 5 campuses across Tasmania & Queensland, is a dual sector training provider comprised of vocational and higher education training organisations servicing high demand industries. Launching with our three-decade old, multi-award-winning RTO, ‘Charlton Brown’, the group’s second Tasmanian campus facility is an integrated centre of excellence, providing international and domestic students with degree-packaged qualifications that combine cutting-edge practical skills with strong academic fundamentals, directly linked to employment outcomes.
